Dr. Andrew "Drew" Dasher
University of Texas Police--Houston
Drew Dasher is originally from Rome, GA. He attended Harding University in Arkansas where he obtained a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a MBA in Organizational Leadership. He recently graduated from Walden University with a PhD in Public Policy and Administration – Criminal Justice. He has previously worked with the Dekalb County Police Department (GA) as a Police Officer/Detective and was the Crime Analysis and Intelligence Unit Manager at the Lincoln Police Department (NE). He currently works for the University of Texas Police Department – Houston at the MD Anderson Cancer Center as a Threat and Risk Analyst.
Drew has authored numerous works to include: Technology Distraction on Patrol: Giving Police Officers a Voice, Geographical Profiling in Crime: A Discussion for Use, and Overcoming Law Enforcement Data Obstacles. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, working in numerous volunteer capacities, and playing video games.
