The SmartForce Command Academy is hosting Drs. Roberto and Rachel Santos, co-creators of Stratified Policing and Co-Directors of the Center for Police Practice, Policy and Research at Radford University to provide two full days of training on Stratified Policing and best practices for crime reduction, crime analysis, and accountability.

Data Analysis With Microsoft Access®. (Five-Part Webinar Series Recording)

This training series is designed to provide  law enforcement personnel with the tactical training necessary to analyze agency data to develop data-driven and measurable deployment strategies. At the end of this block of instruction, the participant will be able to describe and explain the purpose of crash and crime analysis, data sources, and the data structures in the relational database Microsoft Access®.

GIS: Mapping and Hot Spot Identification (Three-Part Webinar Series Recording)

This training series is designed to provide participants with the tools necessary to  utilize ArcGIS to map and analyze agency data and develop data-driven and  measurable deployment strategies designed to support the implementation of the Data Drive Approaches to Crime and Traffic Safety (DDACTS) model. At the end of this block of instruction, the participant will be able to navigate the ArcGIS application, geocode crash and crime data, and represent that data in a variety of different types of “hot spots.”
